If you know that you will need design services throughout the year, but don't want to hire a full-time designer, this program is for you.
— Savings & Discounts: You get a discounted rate compared to my normal hourly rate. The more hours you commit to, the lower the rates you receive.
— More Time & Peace of Mind: You will get priority! Since you are paying in advance, a block of time is already allocated to you each month. You can set deadlines with peace of mind that your project will be complete before they hit.
— Professional Designs: You get the access to a professional designer without the overhead costs of an employee.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
A retainer fee is like a monthly design fee. It is paid at the beginning of each month before work is ordered. Essentially, you are paying for time versus a specific service.
Based on the retainer package you select, I will block out my schedule with the appropriate amount of hours each month and plan my workload accordingly. You have peace of mind knowing that you will receive a pre-established amount of work each month, without having to worry about what other client projects are ahead of you!
Retainer Details
— 3 month minimum commitment.* At the end of 3 months, we will re-evaluate the program to ensure the number of hours are fitting your business needs. After that, we can move to 6, 9, or 12 month commitments.
*If you’re a new client, we will start off with a 1 month commitment and re-evaluate the program after that to make sure we’re a good fit. After that, the 3 month minimum commitment will apply.
— Each retainer includes a set number of hours per week. Overage in hours each week will be billed at the standard hourly rate. I will let you know if we are running close to hitting your monthly hours. If additional time is needed for the month, you will be made aware before committing to pay extra.
— Unused hours expire at the end of each month. This is to ensure that I can allocate time for your projects each month and plan my workload accordingly.
— You will get an invoice on the 1st of each month. Invoice will include the monthly retainer rate for that month and any additional charges from previous month.
WHAT TYPES OF SERVICES CAN BE USED IN THE RETAINER PROGRAM?
— Print Materials: case studies, direct mailers, brochures, event programs, signage
— Digital Materials: email templates, social media graphics, presentation decks
— Ad Design: print and web ads
Services do not include additional costs like stock photography & fonts.
Additional services are available upon request.
Please note: Services do not include logo design. The retainer program is only for clients who already have their basic brand guidelines and logo complete, new logo designs do not fall under this program. Separate logo packages are available upon request. Large scale illustration, lettering pieces or licensed retail art are also not included.
